The Eighth China National English Debating Championship will be held from May 10-15 inBeijingForeignStudiesUniversity,Beijing, P. R. China. This event is sponsored and organized by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press and coordinated by China English Language Education Association. We’d like to invite you to come over, as an experienced adjudicator and debater, to debate with other invited debaters and to train the adjudicators and debaters fromChina.

This event is the only national English debating competition inChinaand started in 1997.It is expected that more than 100 universities from all overChinawill compete in the event. We will invite altogether 36 experienced debaters and adjudicators from outsideChina, as an effort to boostChina’s English debating at tertiary level. Your expenses inBeijing, food and accommodation included, will be covered by the organizing committee. You have to pay your own air travel cost to and fromBeijing. Thank you very much for the help you are going to provide us.
